Marketing Co-ordinator – CA Group

Supporting the Marketing Manager you will play a key role in the development and operation of the marketing function for the CA Group of companies.

Job Summary/Key Responsibilities 

  • Give effective support and input to the creation and execution of the company’s marketing strategy
  • Working with external suppliers to develop all the company’s brands and products through the creation and effective distribution of marketing assets including packaging, brochures, promotional materials, technical data sheets etc
  • Raise the profile of all company brands in agreed key market segments using appropriate marketing communications
  • To manage web content and the continued development of the CA Group websites
  • Work with external PR Agency on press releases and promotions
  • Create and execute effective email marketing campaigns
  • Carry out market research and competitor analysis
  • Manage the Group’s social media output through Twitter and Linked In
  • Event management and corporate hospitality organisation
  • Google Analytics monitoring and reporting
  • Creating marketing assets through video and photography
  • Write copy and proof read all marketing communications
  • General administration and support

Knowledge & Skills 

  • Proven and practical experience in a B2B marketing function
  • CIM qualification preferred but not essential
  • Experience in all aspects of digital marketing and website content management
  • Ability to create marketing assets to a high standard
  • Strong IT skills and experience in using creative software (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Experience in the effective use of social media
  • Excellent communication, people and reporting skills
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing practice and principles
  • Creativity and commercial awareness
  • Strong organisational and time management skills combined with a flexible approach
  • Ability to work autonomously and to deadlines
  • Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders at all levels

IT Support Technician – CA Group

Overall purpose of Job:

Provide 1st line IT support for CA Group users and systems

Scope of Role:

  • Maintain computer systems, currently running on MS and IOS based Operating systems
  • Undertake backups, restores, storage and monitoring procedures
  • Monitor systems to guarantee operational availability
  • Maintain and improve procedures and documentation in line with CA Group requirements
  • Participate in departmental and companywide programs and initiatives to support the business.

Responsibilities:

  • 1st line IT support, providing helpdesk style support for the office, shopfloor based I.T. Equipment and software by problem solving and user education enabling productive / efficient practices.
  • Supporting remote workers and remote site IT operations from the central portals
  • Ensure smooth operation and support of it systems by monitoring and resolving data flow issues.
  • Follow Established CA Group procedures to maintain standards and continuity to improve central support and knowledge transfer between colleagues and users.
  • Follow established procedures for backup routines, media, storage and system monitoring to ensure data integrity, security and accuracy
  • Ensure documentation and procedures are created, maintained and improved upon to enable smooth operations for common duties
  • Assist in undertaking appropriate preventative maintenance on all essential equipment
  • Assist in new IT developments and projects
  • Upgrade and update hardware and software to meet business and user requirements to increase productivity and maintain stability
  • Work with external suppliers and contractors to ensure department and company needs are met.
  • Participate and contribute to all activities across the CA Group.

 Personal Attributes:

  • Minimum 2 A-Levels (1 in IT related subject) or successful level 4 apprenticeship in IT.

Façade Design Draughtsman – Contracting Division

Job Summary

Working within our Specialist Cladding Systems (SCS) Division this is a rewarding position for an experienced AutoCad Draughtsperson.   The role involves responsibility for completing projects from design stage through to construction with projects ranging from several months to in excess of a year, often for prestigious clients.  Previous projects include St David’s Shopping Mall, Cardiff and the American Express Community Stadium, home of Brighton & Hove Albion FC.

SCS is an established division of CA Group specialising in building envelope systems with a focus on rainscreen design and installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work on the building envelope detailing drawings and material scheduling for commercial cladding, roofing and rainscreen applications
  • To work in close partnership with architects and contractors
  • Design Co-ordination including the day to day management of sub-contract drawing offices, liaising between sub-contract drawing offices and the client and checking of design and material scheduling
  • Production of layouts

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Proven AutoCAD Draughtsperson
  • Previous experience of Revit & Solidworks would be an advantage
  • Roofing / cladding / rainscreen focus in current role
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills

Trainee Quality Engineer – Building Products Division

Under the Supervision of the Quality Engineer you will receive the appropriate on-the-job training and support to enable you to gain the necessary knowledge and skills.  This training will be combined with external study.

  • Ensuring that the business needs comply with different regulations and standards
  • Informing employees about yield performance & NCR occurrences (Processing data from engineering)

Working within our Roofing Services Division (CARS), this is a rewarding position for an experienced Roofing and Cladding Draughtsperson.  The role involves responsibility for completing projects from design stage through to construction with projects ranging from several months to in excess of a year, often for prestigious clients.  Previous projects include the Argos Distribution Centre in Darlington and the Marks and Spencer European Distribution Centre at Castle Donington.

CARS is an established division of CA Group specialising in building envelope systems with a focus on twin skin cladding design and installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work on building envelope detailing drawings and material scheduling for commercial cladding, roofing and twin skin wall applications
  • To work in close partnership with architects and contractors
  • Design co-ordination
  • Production of layouts

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
