SolarWall® drives energy savings at Jaguar Land Rover Academy
More than 80 construction industry VIPs attended a special ‘SolarWall® in Action’ event at the Jaguar Land Rover Training Academy in Gaydon, Warwickshire last week. Guests at the event, (which included representatives from The Welsh Assembly, Costain, Kier, B&Q, ASDA and Focus DIY) were able to see first hand how SolarWall®, has helped the refurbished building to save more than 80,000 kWh per year with an associated reduction in CO2 emissions of 19 tonnes.

When Vale Borough council granted Patrick Properties planning permission for a new warehouse and office development in Winsford, Cheshire, it came with a renewable condition. 10% of the developments energy consumption for all of the 5 proposed units of the site must be met through on site renewable energy sources.

BREathing life in to sustainable refurbishment
A SolarWall® perforated Transpired Solar Collector (pTSC) has been specified as part of the Willmott Dixon Community Healthcare Campus at BRE Innovation Park Watford. The idea behind the building is to showcase renewable technologies that can help achieve the NHS’s own zero carbon 2018 targets when applied to heath care projects.
