Speed of Installation

CA Roofing Services understands the importance of completing a project on time and within budget.

With the ever increasing size of buildings it is vitally important that not only project speed should be considered but also the safety of all site operatives.

For over a decade CA Roofing Services has been installing sequentially packed roof sheets, proving its dedication to a simple system with inherent benefits.

Sequential packed roof sheeting improves health and safety credentials on site, as installers are working at height for a much shorter space of time. The roof liners are laid first, which means installers are working above exposed steelwork for the shortest possible period of time. In addition to this, installers are required to carry and lift far less panels over much shorter distances as the organisation of the sheets has already been done, resulting in less risk of a whole host of lift related injuries.

Traditionally supplied roofing packs require the installer to walk to the next purlin in order to reach the next roof sheet. The sheet must then be carried back before the installation can continue. Sequentially packed roof sheets have been proven to reduce build times, which in turn produces significant financial savings, by minimising the amount of distance the installer must travel to reach, unpack and segregate the next roof sheet.

When using sequentially packed roof sheeting, once the sheets are unpacked the only lifting installers need to do is to remove each individual sheet from its pack and place it where it is to be fixed on the roof.
