CA Launches new Sustainable Solutions Brochure

CA Group has launched their new Sustainable Solutions brochure, providing a comprehensive guide to their renewable technology product range and carbon action initiatives.
The Sustainable Solutions brochure includes information on:-
SolarWall® perforated Transpired Solar Collector (pTSC), an innovative solar air heating system that utilises solar radiation to feed naturally warmed fresh air into buildings. With no moving parts, minimal energy running costs and minimal CO2 emissions, SolarWall® provides a truly renewable heat energy source with payback periods of as low as 3 years for new build and 7 years for refurbishment projects. For more information click here .
SolarPower- EliosSolar PV is a thin film laminate amorphous silicone photovoltaic panel that allows solar energy to be converted into usable electricity, providing a renewable solution while reducing the energy costs associated with the building. The unique design of EliosSolar PV allows the panel to be bonded to its own metal tray and then clipped into the roof systems external profile; this is a major advantage of the EliosSolar PV system, unlike most other PV installations which are bonded directly to the building’s roof or assembled onto a separate grid and then mechanically fastened to the surface of the roof. Corus have taken action to minimise the environmental impact of their processes and pre-finished steel products beyond mere compliance. Award winning Confidex Sustain®, built on the success of the Confidex Guarantee®, and a commitment to sustainability going back many years, offers the first CarbonNeutral building envelope in the world.
As a Corus supply chain partner, we offer the Corus Confidex Sustain® guarantee, Corus in conjunction with the CarbonNeutral Company, offsets the embodied CO2 in our Twin-Therm®, River-Therm® and SolarWall® systems on a ‘cradle to cradle’ basis. In fact, CA Group produced the world’s first CarbonNeutral metal building envelope at Princess Yachts, Plymouth. For more information click here.
We are a founder member of the dcarbon8 organisation, through whose ‘Planet Positive™’ initiative 110% of a buildings embodied CO2 can be offset into selected projects worldwide, making the overall construction project’s impact ‘carbon negative’. CA Group was involved in the world’s first Planet Positive™ building, a Sainsbury distribution centre in Pineham, Northants. For more information click here.
