CA Group launches their new website.

CA Group, the north east-based metal roofing and cladding manufacturer, has launched its new and improved website at www.cagroup.ltd.uk.  The new site has been created using web 2.0 technology and features CA Building Products’ entire archive of technical drawings for free viewing.

The site features a simple design which is easier to navigate, and more user-friendly. It contains a lot more information which has been spread over fewer pages, making it easier to find.

The technical drawings library, totalling over  110 drawings and diagrams, covers all of CA Building Products’ roofing, cladding and detailing products, and has taken the company’s technical team a considerable amount of time to  update and complete.

Lee Davies, CA’s technical services manager, said: “This has been a massive undertaking -we were keen to ensure that every drawing is completely up to date.

“The library includes full specification and detail drawings for all our systems in Autocad and Adobe Acrobat formats, and will be of particular benefit to roofing contractors and main contractors as well as architects and specifiers.

“Contractors will now be secure in the knowledge that they are viewing the correct current drawings for each product, and will no longer have to wait for them to be released on DVD. We are very proud of this library, as it is a showcase of our technical expertise and quality of detailing.”

Brian Watson, CA’s commercial director, concludes: “This will prove to be a vital resource to help our customers build higher quality, more efficient and sustainable buildings.

“Within this library is a comprehensive listing of Psi-values for every aspect of our thermally efficient detailing. It shows rooflight U-values as low as 0.90; and gives guidance on how to achieve air permeability performance that has been proven to beat industry records.”
